I replaced the wrong part on the HVAC unit

If I would have replaced that proper part, the air conditioner up would have worked without a problem

I consider myself to be a very handy person. I can change the oil on my car and I can repair a flat tire. I can even change the brakes. I handle a lot of home repairs without calling a professional. When the roof needed a repair, I grabbed a ladder and climbed on top of the house with a bucket of tar and some shingles. When the kitchen needed new flooring, I bought all of the materials and spent a weekend on the project. When the HVAC unit in my home stopped blowing cold air, I thought I could fix the problem on my own with outside help of a professional. I searched online for an answer to the problem. After a lot of research , I was convinced that I needed to replace one of the parts in the machine. I ordered the HVAC part online and I spent last weekend trying to fix the problem. Unfortunately, replacing that part did not fix the air conditioner. I was feeling frustrated and I decided to give up and call the HVAC contractor that works on home repairs. The company had an appointment on the same day and I patiently waited for an HVAC technician to help with the repair. After the service technician checked the system, he told me that I replaced the wrong part. If I would have replaced that proper part, the air conditioner up would have worked without a problem. Unfortunately, I just picked the wrong part to replace. I’m still learning, but I’ll get the hang of it.
