I hate to be considered a high maintenance person, but there are certain things in life that I just cannot compromise on.

I will never be the sort of human who can live in a home with inadequate air quality control measures, for starters.

I don’t know what to tell you, but I have a very sensitive body when it comes to temperatures. I feel like I have no resilience against Ice Cold air or burning hot temperatures, alike. My ideal comfort zone is a very particular temperature range that must be well-managed. Additionally, I have a few things to say about indoor air quality and the way that it relates to relative indoor air temperature. All of this being said, I am afraid that I truly offended my good buddy when she invited me over to her house and I had to leave in the middle of the night. You see, when I arrived at the residence I noticed that the indoor air was rather stagnant and humid. It didn’t feel like she had any indoor air quality control measures in place at all. I cautiously approached the thermostat and saw that the indoor air temperature control system was completely shut down. That’s when I carefully asked her if she had a central cooling system in her house. Nope, she never had any kind of air conditioning system in this place. I didn’t want to offend her, but I knew that I wouldn’t be able to sleep without ice cold air surrounding me. I waited until everybody went to bed and then tiptoed out the front door. I spent the night at a local hotel, where I had enough individual heating, cooling, and air quality control to keep me comfortable.
