I used to wonder what made me so fascinated with the work I do in the HVAC industry.

I asked my parents one time if I always was drawn towards HVAC related things and then they brought out the old photo albums.

They actually had pictures of me as a youngster changing the air filter for the HVAC system. My mother was saying that they had a hard time keeping me away from the HVAC system. It actually was a safety issue more than anything because I always acted like I wanted to pull it apart to see what made it tick. They didn’t want me to be electrocuted, so they had to keep me out of the basement when I was very young. When I was a little bit older, I always volunteered to change the air filters and clean out the inner workings of the HVAC equipment. I even helped my father clean out the outdoor A/C condenser unit every single year. I see that it was things like this that gave me that spark. I was eager to learn about everything HVAC related and eventually I made my way towards earning my HVAC certification in a trade school. I worked hard when I started with an HVAC company and now I am one of the most respected HVAC technicians in the company. I have even been considering opening up my own HVAC company so that I can do things my way. I have plenty of ideas on how to expand to other areas of the state and make a huge amount of money. It feels like it was my destiny to do this type of work.
