Everyone in my house building has to do laundry in the same site.

There is only one laundry room for the entire house building & it contains seven washing machines, seven dryers, & one absolutely immense component that is strictly for blankets & comforters, then considering there are about 100 strange families in the building, that’s not a lot of space or amenities.

I dislike going to the laundry room because it constantly smells bad. The site does not have any heat or AC, so the air is just trapped in the room. There is a small window in the corner of the laundry room, however it does not allow absolutely much air flow, then last year, the building owner purchased numerous box fans for the laundry room, however someone stole them a few afternoons later. If the room had some ventilation or air conditioning, it wouldn’t be terrible, however the musty smell from wet blankets & stale clothing is all you can smell from fifty feet away. The next closest laundromat is about 10 blocks away, so I would have to take a cab or an uber. They have heat & A/C & they are open 24 hours a day. They even have a little eating establishment in the back of the site with popcorn & drinks. Still, that’s about twenty dollars more to do my laundry & that’s an expense that I cannot afford. I look forward to a day when I have my own house & my own laundry room. Of course with numerous more years left in college, that day is still pretty far away.
