I noticed that someone bought the old grocery store that has been vacant for several years. The property was starting to look disheveled, but it looks like the new business is going to clean up the property and remodel the building. A couple of days ago, there was a sign on the front of the building. The new place is going to be an HVAC supercenter parts store. I’ve never heard of a supercenter just for HVAC parts, but I think it’s a cool idea. I’m sure the HVAC companies and technicians have to buy all of the parts and equipment from some place. Maybe they can buy locally and we will be able to save a couple of dollars on HVAC installations and repairs. I’m really glad that someone finally bought the property. It was a grocery store for thirty or forty years and then the owner closed down after the entire property flooded. I thought for sure that the store would eventually reopen, but the building and the parking lot have been vacant for a long time. The new company will bring lots of jobs to the area, and this city has not seen any growth in several years. That is one thing that we can all be happy about. Ever since quarantine, people have been out of work and desperate to find jobs. A factory or supercenter will bring much needed potential for work.
