I resell HVAC brands when our company has an annual sale
Every mid-year when our company presents the annual financial report, lots of company assets are disposed of in favor of new ones.
Normally we have company cars, office furniture, laptops, phones, ac products, and many other electronic gadgets that go on sale at a throwaway price.
No outside bidders are allowed in, just an in-house event for company employees. I recently became interested in the event when I realized I could buy and resell lots of equipment since most of them are in good condition. And since we are given priority as employees, everyone fights for anything available. As for me, I go for all the HVAC equipment uninstalled. Mostly I get ducts to form the ductwork, temperature control appliances like thermostats, and ductless HVAC. Once everything I choose is approved and cleared, I pay for them and reach out to my local contractor to pick them up. Most of the equipment I pick needs a little a/c tune up to enable the buyers to achieve efficient temperature control. Back at the office once everything is cleared, we are presented with new air conditioning equipment from reliable HVAC brands bought from a local cooling and heating company that wins the tender put out months before the changes take place. The company always tries to give the tender for the new a/c service to a new contractor every year to encourage development and fairness. Additionally, the supplier is tasked with arranging for training on energy saving tips for the company employees as a means to encourage proper use of ac units both at work and our homes.
