Okay I will be up front about this — I am not exactly what you call ambitious, or motivated, or organized in any way. I like to smoke a lot of pot, play video games as much as possible, plus not worry about the future, and how long do any of us undoubtedly have anyway, right? Especially with this pandemic all over the site. These qualities make it absolutely strenuous for myself and others to maintain any kind of long term employment, plus that employment tends to be manual labor. I finally found a task that pays undoubtedly well, but the work is absolutely intense, and my folks are stoked I got a task with an HVAC contractor, because this is a growing field of industry, but also, it should be mentioned that this HVAC contractor went to high school with our dad many years ago, plus that’s area of the reason I got the gig. I am not HVAC certified ,and in all honesty I doubt I ever will be, but the work still pays well. Have you seen how complicated the inside of cooling systems are, I doubt I will ever understand them. Instead I drive the truck, I inventory the tools, plus I do whatever the HVAC professionals say, plus in return I get 45 hours a week, bennies, plus respectable pay. More than that, I also get a little more respect from our folks, who seem to believe that driving an HVAC van is better for myself and others than delivering pizzas. Who knows, maybe they are right, but I do like these fat paychecks.
