Okay I will be up front about this — I am not exactly what you call ambitious, or motivated, or organized in any way.

How long do any of us really have anyway, right? Especially with this pandemic all over the place. These qualities make it very hard for me to maintain any kind of long term employment, and that employment tends to be manual labor. I finally found a job that pays really well, but the work is very intense. My folks are stoked I got a job with an HVAC contractor, because this is a growing field of industry. Also, it should be mentioned that this HVAC contractor went to high school with my dad many years ago, and that’s part of the reason I got the gig. I am not HVAC certified ,and in all honesty I doubt I ever will be, but the work still pays well. Have you seen how complicated the inside of air conditioners are, I doubt I will ever understand them. Instead I drive the truck, I inventory the tools, and I do whatever the HVAC technicians say, and in return I get 45 hours a week, bennies, and respectable pay. More than that, I also get a little more respect from my folks, who seem to think that driving an HVAC van is better for me than delivering pizzas. Who knows, maybe they are right, but I do like these fat paychecks.
