Trying to workout during a remodeling project

Our house has been under construction for the past six months.

We are renovating our kitchen.

When we bought the house, the kitchen was extremely outdated. The cabinet doors and drawers didn’t close properly. The counters were stained and chipped and the floor was ugly linoleum. We need to replace all of the appliances and have ripped out the walls, ceiling and floor. We’ve torn everything down to the bare studs. We were thrilled to find hardwood floors hidden under the linoleum, but they were in terrible shape. Between all the sanding, drywall work, sawing, varnishing and construction, we’ve been creating a huge mess. There’s a great deal of dust and debris in every room of the house. I make an hour workout part of my daily routine. I prefer to get my exercise taken care of first thing in the morning. Keeping up with my fitness requirements has been a challenge during this remodeling project. My husband likes to get started as soon as he gets up. Since we are handling this job on our own, I don’t like him to work on his own. I want to be helpful and do my share. I’ve been trying to get up extra early so I can finish working out and shower before my husband gets out of bed. This schedule has me rather tired. Plus, it’s tough to manage my workout when all my equipment is constantly covered in dust. Before I can run on the treadmill, lift weights or use my yoga mat, I need to clean everything.
