My wifey and I decided to start a rainy day fund for household issues a few years ago, when the people I was with and I had a particularly vbrutal complication with the HVAC unit.

My wifey and I did not anticipate needing that we would need to substitute the HVAC equipment.

It was a sizable, bad surprise that left us completely broke and stressed out. My wifey and I did not have enough money to quickly substitute the HVAC unit, so the people I was with and I had to call the bank without warning and get a loan. My wifey and I did not have enjoyable credit, so our interest rate certainly was quite high! A year after the people I was with and I purchased the all new HV AC unit, the people I was with and I decided to start a rainy day fund for any future HVAC issues. We have almost $1,500 in the rainy day fund now, however unfortunately, our rainy day is clearly here and the people I was with and I have to spend the money. The old school plumbing in the master lavatory is leaking behind the wall and our carpet in the hallways is wet and filled with mildew and mold. I called a plumber and spoke for a while to a professional dealer. I gained an estimate for all of the repairs and the money available in our savings account will almost cover all of the expenses. My wifey and I already have been saving this money for a rainy day and the plumbing complication is going to be the perfect reason to empty the account. We are going to need to remove the tub to make the plumbing substitutes. Now looks like it is the perfect time to buy exactly what the people I was with and I truly want.
