There seem to be a multitude of instances when I wish I could just stop what I’m doing, consider the implications and then stop before I do something stupid. But, that’s just me. There is just this area of me that leads ego and pride to get the better of our better judgement. And no, I’m not a big macho type dude, not at all. I just sometimes get out over our skis and it ends badly when it doesn’t need to. For example, take what just happened to our Heating and Air Conditioning. I had noticed that something was up with the heating & cooling plan for almost a week. And every single day, it appeared to get just that much more noticeable. It wasn’t even full on Summer heat yet but the cool air just wasn’t legitimately blowing from the vent. This was unrespected and I should have just called the Heating and Air Conditioning professionals instantly. But, being the way I am, I decided to investigate the situation on my own. I began by having a peak at what I could find on the internet. It appeared to me that the issue was a low refrigerant level. Then, I chose to have a try at a service without the help of a certified Heating and Air Conditioning professional. I went to the hardware store and bought an Heating and Air Conditioning recharge bag. I still legitimately had no plan what I was doing and of course, I packed the compressor and mangled it. So, I did finally make that call to the Heating and Air Conditioning professionals. I was just far too late with it.
