Most kids growing up hated going to school. And of course, I was a single of those kids. But not for the reason you may think. I easily hated going to school not cause it was boring & felt appreciate going to a hard working task & not getting paid for it, but because the school I went to had lousy heating & A/C! The lousy air conditioning I could sort of deal with as it was only the Last year of the year every one of us even needed central air conditioning. But the heating was a major issue! I would go to school & believe appreciate I was kneeling in an ice box instead of a classroom in the winter! It was honestly horrible! I don’t even know how the professors & other kids could handle it. And I am surprised someone never called the board of education to complain. But these were weird times as well. Times where they could get away with things appreciate lousy central heating & A/C & no a single would say a peep. They would just complain when they had to. I was so happy when my final year of school came. I knew I would never have to deal with lousy heating & A/C ever again if I didn’t want to! I said to myself, that if I went to get a task in the real world & they ended up having lousy heat & a/c in there, I would complain. And if they didn’t fix it I would simply quit & find another task where they had quality heating & A/C!
