I was absolutely raised by my mother who was a single parent.

I never knew what happened to my father, but he was never there for us. Every one of us always made it work though and she worked really strenuous to keep food on the table and keep the HVAC working good. It amazed myself and others that she didn’t mind when I would adjust the temperature control settings to recognize comfortable in the beach house growing up. Eventually, I even started working so that I could contribute to paying the energy costs and I could help with the grocery shopping. I always looked forward to our holiday seasons. Every one of us would have a feast during Thanksgiving and the people I was with and I would have other friends and family over to prefer the wonderful food. I always will remember the attractive scents of my mother’s cooking, especially the Thanksgiving turkey! When the people I was with and I would get into the Christmas season, it was always attractive as well as the people I was with and I would have scented candles, Christmas music, and my mother would always have the fire going in the fireplace. Eventually my mother died when I was in university, and that was a devastating time in my life. I didn’t want to do much of anything, however I did finish my schooling so I could work. I ended up getting a lonely house and I didn’t even date because I was depressed. Eventually, I called for some HVAC system maintenance in my locale, and the HVAC worker was this nice young lady who was honestly appealing. I don’t suppose why, however I absolutely asked her out on a date, and the people I was with and I hit it off! Now she is my wifey, and she reminds myself and others so much of my mother with her great cooking and holiday traditions. Every one of us also have a beach house now together with a fireplace and it reminds myself and others of memories spent in the past with my mom.
