It was not easy for myself and others when I first started school since I didn’t absolutely have the skills to take care of myself.

I especially struggled with things care about cooking and doing laundry. I didn’t entirely have laundry component in our apartment, so I would have to take our dirty clothes to a laundromat. I constantly hated going to the laundromat too because the air quality was terrible and there was hardly any weather conditions control. The place kept hot enough doing the Winter season, but it still wasn’t legitimately comfortable. I wish they would have had a fantastic air purification plan to improve the air quality and I wished they had a better cooling plan for the hot season. The thing is, our condo did have a place with laundry hookups for a washer and dryer, although I didn’t have the money to invest in that. Eventually, I was able to save up some money though, and I was so excited that I did. I finally was able to get a used washer and dryer, and I even had enough money to invest in a nice UV media air cleaner. I use that UV media air cleaner all the time and it has improved the air quality in our condo so much! It was so nice not having to take all of our dirty clothes to the laundromat where I constantly felt uncomfortable. I was able to relax in our condo while taking care of the laundry, and I have improved our cooking over the years as well. I assume the only way to learn how to take care of yourself is to just dive into life.
