HVAC units need a lot of improvements

I don’t understand the people who are inventing new HVAC units like furnaces and air conditioners.

  • Sometime in the 60s and 70s, HVAC manufacturers must have decided that HVAC units have reached their peak.

However, they could not stop making air conditioners and furnaces, because then they would have no way to earn any more money. Instead, HVAC developers decided to find a way to make HVAC units a bit more efficient, but they would also decide to sacrifice the quality of air conditioners and furnaces. Parts would become cheaper for HVAC units, and the air conditioners and furnaces would require a lot more repairs. This would drive up business for HVAC technicians, and it would also cause furnaces and air conditioners to need to be repaired more often. The older furnaces and air conditioners may not have been as efficient, but at least they lasted longer! Honestly, modern HVAC units need a lot more improvements than they seem. I am definitely not against HVAC companies creating air conditioners and furnaces that are more efficient than the HVAC units that we used to have, but they should have never sacrifice quality. We need to develop HVAC units that are just as efficient, but that doesn’t break down every season. People don’t appreciate companies that produce products that are cheaply made and don’t last. They would rather invest more money in an HVAC unit that is going to last than to pay an HVAC technician to constantly fix their cheap HVAC unit for a hefty price. Do you agree with me?
