My co-worker was paranoid about getting sick from the A/C
I happened to be carpooling with my coworker recently plus he did something strange.
Let me preface by saying that he was unquestionably hesitant to provide me a ride to work.
The two of us only live approximately a mile from each other plus I’ve never asked this guy for a ride before! However, my husband’s motorcar is in the shop so he has to use our motorcar for a little while. That’s why I asked Rob for a ride. After all, we work the same shift. Anyhow, he was taking me to work plus I noticed that his a/c appliance was on in his motorcar but that he did not have the recirculated air option working! He actually had the option that makes the motorcar take the air from outside of the car, not inside. I told the man that the recirculate option works so much better plus is easier on your car, especially when it’s over a hundred degrees outdoors. I then pushed the recirculated button plus turned it on. Then he shouted, “don’t touch that!” He hastily turned the recirculated air button back off. Then he explained that if one of us had the Coronavirus that is going around it would be much better that his motorcar gets the a/c air from outside rather than from inside the car. Well I am not feeling sick in the slightest. I asked Rob if he was feeling sick and he said “no, but it’s best to be safe.” I do not actually know what he’s so worried about. I mean, we work next to each other all afternoon everyday. If one of us has the virus that is going around, we are going to get it from each other at work regardless. Whatever, I am not going to fight with this guy about how he uses his a/c appliance in his car.
