Safer to run A/C in car not with the regulated air option
Safer to run A/C in car not with the regulated air option
I was carpooling with my coworker yesterday and she did something kind of strange.
Let me preface by saying that she was really hesitant to give me a ride to work.
We only live about a mile from each other and I’ve never asked her for a ride before. However, my husband’s car is in the shop so she has to use my car for a few days. That’s why I asked Becky for a ride. After all, we work the same shift. Anyhow, she was taking me to work and I noticed that her air conditioner was on in her car but that she didn’t have the recirculated air option on. She had the option that makes the car take the air from outside of the car, not inside. I told her that the recirculate adoption works a lot better and is easier on your car. Especially when it’s over a hundred degrees outside. I then pushed the recirculated button and turned it on. Becky yell, “don’t touch that!” and she quickly turned the recirculated air button back off. Then she explained that if one of us had the Coronavirus it would be much better that her car gets the air conditioner air from outside rather than from inside the car. Well I’m not feeling sick. I asked Becky if she was a she said “no, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.” I don’t know what she’s so worried about. I mean, we work right next to each other all day everyday. If one of us has the Coronavirus, we’re going to get it from each other at work anyway. Whatever, I’m not going to argue with her about how she runs her air conditioning in her car.
