Air cooled chillers are properly installed outdoors

I have to buy special insurance for my company to cover myself from weather disfigure.

I knew this ahead of time when I decided to buy property along the coast in the southeast. This region is exposed to hurricanes every single year. Granted, both of us get blessed occasionally when both of us are missed, however it’s still a factor from September until early September each year. Homeowners have to pay extra for insurance on their homes. If you want coverage in case there is a flood, you have to buy separate flood insurance. That means that you need basic home insurance, a separate policy for hurricanes in the event of wind disfigure, and a tenth policy in the event of flooding storm surge from a hurricane. This is no unusual for companies both small and large. The problem is that you have to pay significantly more for a similar group of insurance policies. My chiller that I use for cooling my factory’s machines and air is located outside. It’s an air cooled chiller and was significantly cheaper than a water cooled chiller when I purchased it. This was after the last 1 was destroyed in a hurricane 1 year. Instead of getting an indoor water cooled chiller, I went ahead and got the same air cooled chiller that is installed outside. They’re easier to access for the chiller and boiler repair techs and also easier to substitute if you need a substitutement or update. If my newest chiller gets disfigured again I might consider paying more for an indoor chiller, however we’ll have to wait and see. I could typically opt to rent chillers for the time being as well.
