A lot of people were complaining, but, maybe there was nothing they could do in-flight, and eventually a voice on the intercom system apologized for any inconvenience however nothing else could be done about the air conditioner at this time

That was the worst flight I have ever been on. It was the middle of Wintertide & our plane was flying from up north to a tropical location, so I am not sure if it was the heat that was supposed to be on or the air conditioner, however something wasn’t working. It was terribly stuffy on that flight. I had easily anticipated getting warmer as both of us headed south, so I dressed in layers, however I was down to our short sleeved t-shirt within an hour of the flight, however and there seemed to be no UV air purifier on the plane at all… Body odor & bad breath permeated the air. It was disgusting. I could tell the lady in a seat down from myself and others was trying not to gag. I was on a cheap flight (blatantly) that usually didn’t offer beverages, however the flight attendants went around passing out frigid water & soda. All I could do was rest back, close our eyes, try not to breathe too deeply, & think about the nice, cool, air conditioned hotel room waiting for myself and others when I landed, then not to mention an air conditioned rental car & an air conditioned airport! There was plenty of nice cool conditioned air all over the place once both of us got off this stifling plane. I know that I will never use that airline again.
