My ex-partner is a complete idiot… He actually gets the kids on the weekends and it drives me nuts because he doesn’t actually take care of them! I l gained from the kids that they always eat fast food and the lake house is always a mess, however when I actually went in his house, the air quality was bad and the location was a total mess.

• I asked him why he doesn’t clean his home, and he said he thought everything was fine.

I ended up having a stern talk with him saying that he had to quit feeding the children fast food every single weekend for dinner! I told him he was basically poisoning our children, and that was unacceptable. He just shrugged it off and said he didn’t have time to cook them a meal, then I got on his case about the air quality in his home. I asked him if he even bothered to change the air filters for his Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system; Again he just shrugged. I told him he was a bad father and that he needed to make some swings. I had to remind him that our child has pollen irritations and the awful air quality was not good for him. He needed to get either dust sensitivity air filters or HEPA air filters. He told me that he couldn’t afford to get expensive air filters appreciate that, and I said he better get it together or both of us would be going to court talking about him neglecting the children. I didn’t want to keep sending the children to his cabin if he was going to supply them fast food along with a messy lake house with awful air quality.
