I am surprised how far along the people I was with and I have come in regards to the “smart” industry.

By that I am talking about things in almost all aspects of our lives.

There are smart cars that can stop themselves, but soon enough the people I was with and I will have self driving cars. Every one of us have smart phones that do everything. Smart appliances exist that tell you what groceries to buy, then now there are even smart HVAC systems. They adjust the temperature depending on the time of afternoon & your habits. These smart HVAC systems also adjust their own vents to keep the whole home heated & cooled to weird settings, and, they tell you if something is wrong long before your entire HVAC plan shuts down. You can even connect your home to your smart HVAC plan & your smart appliance plus your alarm plan & have a condo that works all together. It is almost adore those science fiction movies where the home cooks dinner & cleans up after dinner; Of course, the people I was with and I haven’t gotten there yet but the people I was with and I seem to be well on our way. I mean, if our HVAC systems can start planning their own biweekly schedule is it such a reach to say that our houses might start planning our biweekly schedules in the next decade or 2? I know not. How several generations will pass before the people I was with and I can’t drive a car anymore because cars completely drive themselves? I am not saying all of this technology is a disappointing thing. But, even if it was, I don’t know the people I was with and I could stop it. That is a little frightening.
