Hot yoga was not what I planned on

Hot yoga was not what I planned on

I decided to try out the core progression near me and take a fitness class. With my work schedule I don’t have a lot of time. There was only one fitness class that fit the days and times that I was available. I signed up for hot yoga three days a week without looking up what it is. I kind of thought it would be like sexy yoga mixed with pole dancing. I was picturing sexy poses and getting more confidence in my body. The hot portion actually refers to the temperature. It is taking an intense yoga class with the heater on high. Instead of feeling like a sexy little thing while working out, I am a sweaty beast. The women in my class are hardcore too. We don’t just sit around breathing and finding our inner peace. The personal trainer has us constantly working. She has us hold very difficult poses for such a long time. We also do a lot of work while holding free weights. I get where I can’t lift my arms in the shower to wash my hair. It is like having a drill sergeant training us for the Navy Seals rather than a fitness class. Now add in intense heat while trying to do this. I leave a puddle of sweat and it just drips off me the whole class. It looks like I jumped in a pool once I am done. I am getting a fantastic work out, but I was not prepared for it. I thought I was getting a casual fitness class rather than intense fitness training.
