I was surprised when I went to turn on my air conditioning system, and not hear the familiar click as the air conditioning system comes to life. I kept flicking the switch to no avail. I was surprised because my a/c unit is still very new, only about a year old. I decided to call a HVAC company and ask them what was wrong with my a/c unit. I called the HVAC business and explained my situation, and how the air conditioning machine was working just fine for several months, and then it suddenly turned off. The HVAC owner listened closely, and then asked some general questions about my cooling machine. After I answered, he explained that I was most likely using my cooling device too much. While this made sense, I was surprised that I had been using my air conditioning component too much, I thought they could run all day without issue, and I was wrong. Everything began to make sense, as I almost never turned my air conditioning on and I have it running 24/7 every month, so now I realize why it broke. I knew I couldn’t go without the a/c, so I decided to go ahead and schedule a HVAC appointment. After the HVAC technician came and got my wonderful cooling machine to start working again, he confirmed what I and the HVAC owner said, I had overused it. This time, I will have to be much more careful in how I use my AC system, and make sure to turn it off and give the cooling system breaks frequently to prevent this from happening again.
