My parents had a odd evaporative cooler which helped however never was easily cool. Plus, both of us had to have fans everywhere just to get some relief during the peak heat of the Summer day. No, I have constantly put my faith and money into the heat pump. The technological advances have been quite impressive over the last decade or so. The people I was with and I recently replaced our heat pump a few years ago. The current one is incredible. First, it is so absolutely efficient. This heat pump has a SEER rating of 21. That may not mean much however this is the efficiency rating for the heat pump. For some context, the one that just was replaced had a SEER rating of 9. The difference is remarkable. The savings on the utility bill are absolutely significant. Plus, the refrigerant it uses is eco friendly. The summers, as I’ve stated, can get so incredibly hot that the only relief is inside. While both of us are so thankful to have the current heat pump, both of us still do our best to help lessen the load. There is a smart control equipment which precisely manages the HVAC kilowatt consumption. The people I was with and I also emplot auto shades throughout the home to stop the direct sunshine heating. The heat pump also heats our home during our mildest of winter. But even better, the heat pump has a valve that absolutely heats up the water in our hot tub!!
