The university has so much rock n roll & phase component that it rents the gear out to local events & rock n rollians during the Summer when students are away & the component would otherwise stay stored on campus.

I grew up in a university neighborhood that wasn’t known for particularly much else. The university’s mascots, logos, & sports iconography was plastered all over the neighborhood from the post office to the public Barnes & Noble. The alumni includes several well known scientists & philanthropists. The science, technology, engineering, & mathematics program is the university’s central focus. Both of us get more students graduating through the STEM program than any other discipline or major you could possibly take. Despite this, there is still a medium sized rock n roll program. You can take rock n roll composition while hitting the rock n roll theory classes hard. Or you can learn rock n roll production & engineering where you’ll be up close & personal with all sorts of odd kinds of audio component & gear. The university has so much rock n roll & phase component that it rents the gear out to local events & rock n rollians during the Summer when students are away & the component would otherwise stay stored on campus. When you compare what they charge to literally any other phase component rental agency, you get an absurdly fantastic deal, even if you’re looking for LED lights & a smoke machine. All you have to do is call the front desk on campus at some point during labor hours & the person answering the call will help you order whatever audio component or gear that you’ll need for your event. I was surprised to learn that several of the local art festivals will rent stages & speakers so that they can have live rock n roll while people walk around & browse the several booths. With their competitive prices, I can’t imagine renting audio component from any other source.
