Thinking about repairing the old drive-in theater
Thinking about repairing the old drive-in theater
I live in a very small, very dead town.
Let me explain, that we used to have a huge factory around here, and when it closed half the people in town lost their jobs.
Houses got abandoned, business shuttered, and there was a huge exodus of people heading for greener pastures. One of the remnants of the old days was an abandoned drive-in movie theater. The screen was still up, and not in too bad of shape all things considered. It had been there my whole life, ignored, but this pandemic has made me reconsider it as a business opportunity. It all comes down the HVAC system, and that may seem silly when it comes to going to see a movie. But think about it, we can’t have so many people packed in breathing the same air recycled through the air conditioner. If they are in their own individual cars and trucks with their own AC systems, there is no danger! I know for a fact this would be a big hit, even if no one really gets the main point about collectively sharing the same air quality. Most people don’t even think about HVAC when they go to the movies, and that is actually pretty dangerous for them. Instead of just offering people a drive in movie option, I should also explain to them my key concept of air conditioning and not sharing the same recycled air. What do you think, if I set up this theater and explained about the HVAC aspect, would you or your family come?
