For my summer internship I have been living down south for the past few months.

So far the internship has been doing surprisingly well and it seems like each day I learn something new. All of the employees and upper management around the office treat me with respect despite being older and more experienced than I am, and I really can’t picture working anywhere else. One of the number one things that I have been loving about this internship is how nice the office I work at is. The owner of this company believes that taking care of the employees comes before everything else in the business world, and due to this belief we are pretty spoiled. There are free drinks and snacks every day, and there is also a state of the art air conditioning system in the building as well. Since we are right in the middle of the warm summer season most places of work around us have an extremely hard time keeping their buildings cool enough but over here it’s really not a problem. Being able to work when there is a strict guideline to hit is pretty easy to manage when there is unlimited coffee and a cooled down room. Hopefully in a few years I will be able to turn this internship into a full time position, and then who the hell knows, perhaps I will find myself in my very own office with a zoned heating and cooling system loving what I do. For the meantime though, I will just enjoy my time working in this great company.
