I have never been one who likes to be around a lot of people. People just make me nervous and they look at me like I am weird. I always thought I was normal, but I guess I’m not. Being different isn’t always accepted. When I moved into my apartment, I suddenly realized that there was an entranceway that led right into my attic. I wanted to go up there and make sure the door was locked from the inside, but I didn’t like attics. I was always afraid of ghosts, even though I had never seen one. No matter where I lived, I have always heard unexplainable noises. I was only in this house for a month when I was once again hearing odd noises. I was convinced that the ghosts were following me from home to home. When I began noticing i had a problem with my heating, I knew I had to call the HVAC company. A part of me didn’t want to call them because I was afraid they would ask about the sounds coming from the attic. I had to have heat, so I called the HVAC company. When the HVAC tech arrived, he checked the furnace and told me he couldn’t find anything wrong. He did notice a draft and he was convinced there was a problem with the ductwork. I was petrified when he headed to the attic to look into the ductwork. He let out a yelp when he got up there and I thought he had found the ghost. Instead he said he had found the problem with the ductwork. He said he was surprised I didn’t think the house was haunted. The ductwork was broken and all the air that was sucking in and out of the ductwork.
