The other night I woke up from a really bad dream.

It was a dream about my heating system breaking down in the middle of the night.

I was really worried when I got up and I ran over to my thermostat and then checked that my HVAC unit was functioning. I actually did get my HVAC tuned up prior to the winter months, so there wasn’t a reason for anything bad to happen. It’s just that this situation did happen to me in real life so many years ago when I skipped out on my HVAC system tune-up before the winter. It was a real hassle getting an HVAC team out there to help me out in my freezing home. I ended up having to pay a small fortune for that repair. I never wanted to go through that situation ever again and so I always made sure to get my important HVAC maintenance. The fear was really in me when I had that dream and I thought I was going to have to pay big money again to have my heating system fixed in the midst of the winter season. I’m really glad it was just a dream though, but it definitely prompted me to arrange for an appointment with the HVAC tech to make sure everything was good and there were no small problems with my HVAC machine. It’s really better to be safe than sorry, and who knows, maybe the dream was giving me a sign about some impending HVAC failure. I guess I’ll know when the HVAC worker arrives at my place.
