The air conditioner at the hospital was turned too high

I experienced a pretty major medical problem a few weeks ago, and I ended up in the hospital for a few days. Apparently, the medical problem wasn’t life-threatening, but they weren’t taking any chances. I had to stay in the hospital overnight for a week while they checked all of my vitals and made sure that I was healthy. Honestly, that was probably the worst week of my life as far as sleep is concerned. The constant check-ups and the uncomfortable bed wasn’t helpful, but the worst part was the air conditioner in the room where I was staying. Obviously, I know that hospitals use air conditioners a lot for health reasons. The cold air from the air conditioner helps to prevent the spread of illness, and it keeps the doctors comfortable. However, when you are sitting in a bed all day while the air conditioner is keeping the room freezing cold, it is uncomfortable. Even though they know the air conditioner makes people cold, the blankets that they give people are terrible. I kept asking for more and more blankets, but they said that they didn’t have enough for everyone to have a lot. If they turned down the air conditioner a little bit, we wouldn’t have this problem. They wouldn’t even adjust the thermostat much when I asked. I was so glad to leave that hospital and enjoy my own house, where the air conditioner is set to a normal level. I don’t ever want to stay at the hospital for a long time with that air conditioner ever again. It was absolutely awful.
