The coffee shop that my mom likes going to has closed down for HVAC repairs.

I don’t know what’s going on in there because it’s a pretty new building. I remember when they built the place and it was just a couple of years ago. I remember when the commercial HVAC company was parked in the parking lot while they were working on the building. So the place isn’t that old. I know that the heating and air conditioning system can’t possibly be worn out already. So hopefully it’s just some kind of minor furnace repair that they have to get done and not some major overhaul of the entire system. I’m really hoping that they get the HVAC repairs finished soon because every day my mom has been showing up at my house to drink my coffee and hang around. I like having my mom around, but not every day! She gets mad if I don’t sit around and talk to her for two or three hours but I have lots of work to do in the mornings. I can’t just sit and have coffee and talk with her like she does with her friends at the coffee shop every morning. She takes it personally, though. Not only that, but she comes in and immediately helps herself to my thermostat in the hallway. She always turns the heating way up and ends up costing me a fortune in heating and air conditioning bills. That’s why I can’t wait for the furnace to get fixed in her favorite coffee shop!
