My partner & I have lived together ever since our parents passed & left us the house.

A few years ago, my sibling & I were told that our a/C component was on its last leg & it would not make it through another summer. Since then, most days we use the AC unit, we wait for it to quit working. I knew that it was an out of date AC unit, but I couldn’t figure out why we should just throw it away when it was still working. I hated that people felt they should get rid of something just because it as worn down. Only a very small number of afternoons ago, my sibling & I were home for the rest of the evening. I went to bed early & it was only various minutes later that she was knocking on my door. She told myself and others she thought my a/c was having a good amount of health problems. Her being a nurse meant that she was regularly putting the AC problem into health terms. She said it seemed to be coughing worse than normal & we needed to call the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business. I didn’t hear any noise, but I did see that it was much warmer than normal. I checked the air vents & when I didn’t know any cool air, I knew she was right about the health of the AC unit. I sent a message to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation however they couldn’t do anything for the AC unit. They reminded they thought we should buy a few new AC component earlier this summer. I believe we were fortunate to be able to get through the worst area of the Summer before it eventually broke.
