My girlfriend Wendy is big on eating healthy.

She wanted to get us eating more fruits.

Since they are so expensive, she decided to make a garden full of them. She has all kinds of appealing plants from trees to vines. Her strawberry plants take a lot of work because she has to train the vines to go through the trellis. It’s legitimately cool because she also has these hammock nets to hold the other fruits in the garden when growing strawberry plants in the trellis. It seems she’s out there all the time with her plants watering plus taking unbelievable care of her fruits. She harvests her oranges, apples, and pears at the right time. There’s so much work involved, I am always concerned about her comfort level. I don’t want her to collapse from a heart attack on sizzling day so I keep the temperature control settings just right in the house so she can come in for some a/c breaks. She insists that she is just great, but I won’t let her stay out there for really long without heading in with the a/c to cool her off. I will have cool drinks prepared for us, usually just iced tea. I also will prepare us lunch so that she will have plenty of energy to go back to working on her gardening. Even though she always insists she’s just fine plus just wants to task in her fruits, I can tell she appreciates the air conditioner breaks a whole bunch. I like taking the time to chat with her too.
