I was almost scammed by the new HVAC contractor

I was almost scammed by a shady heating and a/C contractor that just opened up in the neighborhood.

These heating and cooling contractors sounded almost too good to be true with all their low prices and services.

It just sounded too nice! It’s usually too good to be true when it sounds too good to be true. The heating and a/C contractor tried to sign me up for a contract for their luxurious sounding HVAC service plan. However, when I learned about all the fine print on their contract, I saw that it was only a large scam! There were a ton of clauses in the contract that were hitting me with extra fees. In the end, the so called luxurious savings ended up being absolutely nothing. Not to mention the HVAC equipment was more upscale than any other HVAC equipment at a well established heating and a/c business elsewhere! Then, here was the real catcher,.the HVAC contractor wanted me to be locked into their HVAC service program for at least 5 years! If I were to cancel at anytime for any reason then I would be charged an obscene amount of money! What if I had to leave that region after a years time? Or what if I wasn’t glad in the slightest with their heating and a/C servicing plan? I’ve seen door to door salesmen try and rip off pest control companies pulling the same scam before, so I knew what they were doing! I told these heating and a/C contractors where to stick it, and I of course I did not sign up!
