I’ll be the first to admit, I tend to buy things the moment I want them.

Well, there is at least one thing that I am thankful that I bought right then and there.

I got a nice window a/c device from a thrift store over a year ago. I was shopping with some friends of mine and saw it. It was on sale and I thought you can never have too much a/c. My friends thought I was crazy. I already had a nice central cooling plan in my house. I thought that perhaps it would come in handy for an emergency situation. Maybe it would help add more to my central ac plan. Perhaps I could save on my bills. I really just liked the idea of having a backup cooling device in my home. The window a/c device actually just collected dust in my attic section for a few years until one day I finally needed it. It was the midst of a heatwave during the summer season. I unfortunately didn’t get my Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan tune-up before. So my air conditioner plan just quit on me. A lot of people had the same issue. Getting a/c service was next to impossible. That’s when I remembered that I bought that nice window a/c device awhile back. I hooked it up to get some a/c. I couldn’t believe how well the thing worked! In my little home, I was able to keep nice plus cool. It was so easy thanks to my trusty window a/c unit. My friends were not laughing at my purchase then. They begged to use my window a/c.
