I once knew a person who would always try to maintain their own HVAC system.
Every single spring I would see my neighbor outside cleaning out the outdoor A/C condenser unit and one time I asked him about the HVAC maintenance he was doing. I told him that we were on an HVAC system maintenance plan so we didn’t have to worry about anything like that. That’s when he became curious and started asking me about the HVAC system maintenance plan. I let him know how everything we needed with our HVAC was covered for a low yearly rate. I even told him how much we saved and how the HVAC company was a very reliable group of HVAC technicians. He did admit that his energy bills were becoming a bit high-priced and that it might not be a bad idea to look into a good HVAC system maintenance plan. I decided to provide him the contact information for the HVAC company we use and before I knew it, he had HVAC workers over to his place all the time. I even got a referral bonus from the HVAC company and they told me with a few more referrals, they would supply me with a pack of quality air filters for free! I think it sounds like a good idea because those air filters can get pretty costly, especially when you use the high quality ones.
