The forced air Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment in our property was installed several years ago.

I think that doesn’t seem like such a long while but over that time it has started to run more frequently plus for longer periods of time.

I was entirely concerned that the people I was with and I needed to replace the unit but the Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment specialist said that there were ways to make it run more efficiently without going for a replacement. He said that one of the main reasons for systems having to operate harder is the buildup of dirt plus debris in the air duct of the property. Since the HVAC equipment is several years old, it has had that long to have this build up happen. We have boys, pets, plus have done a couple of renovations over the years so I am sure that all of that has added to the complications we are dealing with. He recommended a cleaning of the air duct plus explained that they use powerful vacuums plus brushes to sweep any dust plus debris from the ductwork system. We agreed to pay for the repair plus when they arrived to do the job I could not get over the size of the equipment that they used. What surprised me more was the fifteen pounds of debris they pulled from the system of ductwork. This seriously left me feeling embarrassed that my property was so dirty. They said that this was entirely common for systems like ours but recommended that the people I was with and I have it cleaned at least every few years. They also said that if the people I was with and I took on any projects or renovations the people I was with and I should shut the HVAC equipment off if possible or at least cover the vents to avoid major troubles from occurring.
