Something that has always confused me when it came to the upkeep of my central heating and air conditioning system unit was when to have certain things serviced.

Of course I know to have my central heating and air conditioning system get a nice tune up at least once every few months.

But the one thing that has always confused me is how often to have the ductwork and the air ducts cleaned. Some say I should only have it done once per year. Others say that in the Summer months I should have it done at least 2 times. Like I said…it gets very confusing! I called a local heating and air conditioning company and asked to speak to one of their certified heating and air conditioning specialists to see what their opinion was on getting your ductwork and air ducts cleaned. The certified heating and air conditioning specialist said one thing to me that has stuck with me for ages now. And that was, “when it doubt just do it!”. Now that could have been a simple sales pitch to try to get me to hire the heating and air conditioning company to schedule a ductwork and air duct cleaning. But what he said is actually true! This goes for anything in life. Basically what the phrase means is to use your own judgement. Because your own judgement is always the best and what will always work well for you personally! So I did just that and scheduled my central heating and air conditioning system’s ductwork and air ducts to be cleaned by this heating and air conditioning company.
