Upgrading to solar panels

Upgrading to solar panels

I’ve been wanting to make some major condo improvements around my condo for the past five years or so.

I’ve held off on tackling these major projects because of the investment they would require, weighed against the expected payback from the improvements.

However, there is one project in particular that would benefit me financially in the long run; installing solar panels to power my home’s Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system, but until now I’ve operated with a pretty typical heating and cooling setup, everything is run by electricity from the energy supplier. I spend a tolerable amount on my energy bills every month, and I don’t feel as though my temperature control is anything special to warrant such spending. That’s why I’m looking to power my condo heating and cooling with energy from the sun. I simply need to clear some land, removing a few square meters of brush, so that the panels can be installed. After that, they will collect photons from the daylight and store up that energy to power my entire ventilation system. My heating system and air conditioning system will actually be powered with only a single solar panel, although I would like to use this system to control the thermostat and indoor condo fans as well. I figure that it will only take one year for the energy savings to outweigh the initial investment, and my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C will practically pay for itself after that. I’ve already gone ahead and received some quotes from my local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional, and I’m ready to transport forward as soon as the replacement servicemans are!
