My dad was in town for a few afternoons plus we decided to have some fun.

All of us ended up spending a few hours at the beach plus then he wanted to go look at some of the shops on the boardwalk.

By then, I was getting absolutely overheated plus tired but I didn’t want to admit that I was having trouble keeping up with my dad. Finally, we decided to stop at this little restaurant plus eat. I figured the food plus drink might give myself and others the strength to go on. I’m so ecstatic I did. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I felt the refreshing cool air from the air conditioner hit myself and others love a refreshing drink of water. It was so incredibly cool plus comfortable inside. we both ordered some drinks plus appetizers. But I wished we’d saved a little more room for the main course. The fish was great. Sitting there plus great in the air conditioner let myself and others cool off for a bit. I didn’t want to leave. I think my dad felt the same, because we both ended up eating our food easily slowly. He looked a bit tired himself. This southern heat was a little more than he’s used to. After supper, I was ready to hit more of the shops. However, my dad was ready to go home. I couldn’t say that I blame him, then when we finally got home, we just wanted to rest in front of the air conditioner plus rest. My dad didn’t want to go back outside plus explore for the whole rest of his trip. I assume this heat wore him out. It wears myself and others out too.
