The air conditioner is not working in my dad’s house.
I feel really bad for him because I know how much he loves his air conditioning.
He is the type of person who uses their air conditioner almost all year long. It does get down into the thirties and forties at times during the winter months here, and that is the only time that he will turn off his air conditioner. He prefers his house to be about fifty-eight degrees. That is crazy chilly to me. I couldn’t imagine keeping my house at fifty-eight degrees. I get chilly sometimes when it is sixty-eight degrees. I prefer my house to be about seventy-two degrees. That is the perfect temperature to me, but my dad obviously has a different opinion about the temperature of his house. I really hope that he can figure out what is wrong with his air conditioner and fix it himself. He is pretty good at fixing things, but he told me that he has done very little HVAC work, so he is a bit nervous that he may not be able to fix his air conditioner. I think that he will be able to do it, but if he can’t, I am sure that he will go ahead and hire an HVAC technician. He loves his air conditioning enough to pay a lot of money to get it fixed; I am sure. I think that I actually may be able to live comfortably without air conditioning in my house for most of the year. It does get pretty warm during July and August though, so I am thankful that I have air conditioning in my house.
