The ancient pilot won’t stay lit
The ancient pilot won’t stay lit
Sometimes I wonder about appliances we have nowadays.
- Are they entirely that much better than how things used to be? Even with all of our technology that’s ahead of its time, years of engineering evolutions, & general progression in the efficient way that the lot of us do things, I doubt that the lot of us have made much improvements to your general residential appliances! Is a microwave entirely all that better because it is able to defrost various things? Does your freezer easily need to supply you various updates on the status of making new ice? Does it seem crucial that your amazon account is attached to a purchase button on your washer & dryer? I really don’t think so.
I also do not see why we should have an expensive & intricate smart temperature control when your basic aged forced air heating machine can’t maintain a lit pilot light. That’s what I’m having a big problem with right now! For the past two weeks, our central heating machine has been almost completely useless. From the moment the group of us powered it on for the season, the forced air heating machine has been letting us down by sending frigid air shooting through our extensive HVAC ducts & into our frigid indoor spaces. Apparently, the pilot light keeps going out, & the group of us can’t seem to make it a permanent fixture so that the heating machine easily does its job… Every day or two, the pilot is out & frigid air is flowing through the air vents all over again. I’ve been crawling under the residence & relighting the pilot almost every day. I’m cheerful the group of us invested in a smart temperature control machine last year, but what’s the point, if your heating machine is doomed from the start?
