I am debating on whether to mention it to that friend or not

I finally got around to cleaning the filters in my air conditioner. I know that I should have cleaned them a long time ago, but I never even thought about it until a friend mentioned to me that she had cleaned the filters in her air conditioner. I actually did not even know that my air conditioner had filters until I checked after my friend mentioned that to me. I didn’t say anything to her because I was too embarrassed to say that I had never cleaned my air conditioning filters. I really do like the fact that the air conditioner filters some of the pollutants out of the air, but it probably doesn’t do very much when it has never been cleaned. I opened up my air conditioner, and at first, I could not find the filters. I had to look it up on the internet. They were quite obvious after seeing them in the picture. I am so glad that I was able to find them and clean them. After my friend mentioned that she cleaned hers, I could not stop thinking about how my air conditioning filters probably needed cleaning as well. It would have bothered me until I cleaned them. I am glad that it is over with now, and I can say that I have cleaned my air conditioner filters at least once in my life. I am debating on whether to mention it to that friend or not. I think it would give us some good laughs at my expense. I need to learn to laugh at myself more often, so I think I will end up telling her.
