We have been having an usually cold Autumn this year.

I did not expect it to drop below freezing until late November like it usually does, but it actually dropped below freezing about four times already, and it is only the beginning of October.

I did turn the heat on a couple of times to keep the pipes from freezing, but we had days that it would get up to seventy degrees, so having the heat on made the house way too warm. I decided that I was going to try and use one of my space heaters in my bedroom during the nights that it above freezing but still chilly. I have three space heaters, and they were all in storage. I found one of them easily, so I took it down to my bedroom to use. Unfortunately, it would not even turn on. I went up and found the other two space heaters. I tried both of them, but neither of them worked either. It is just my luck to have three space heaters and none of them work when I need them to. I know that I used at least one of them last year, so at least one of them worked. I asked my husband if he could buy a new one on his way home from work, but he hasn’t seen my message yet, and he is supposed to be home in about thirty minutes, so I do not think that I will have a space heater tonight. It is hard to sleep in the cold, so I will definitely have to get one soon.
