I can never find the remote when I need it.
I can never find the remote when I need it.
It seems that just about everything in my property has a remote control.
The blatant things like the cable, sound system, and cable box are just a few of them.
With modern technology there are remotes to control the dimming of the lights, the speed of the ceiling fans, and even my smart control unit. The problem with having so numerous of them is keeping them in a location where I can truly find what I need. I used to feel it was strenuous just trying to find the cable remote because it was usually stuffed down the cushion of the couch however now I am constantly searching for one remote or another; During the summer time time I like to keep the fan remote and control unit remote close by so I can adjust them when I feel too hot or too cold, then unluckyly, there are other members of my family who want them close to them too. I have decided I want to put up a shelf in the kitchen that is dedicated to remotes only. This way they can all be centrally located where anyone can reach them whenever they want them. However, getting pretty much everyone to agree to put them back will be difficult. It is easy to get distracted and just put them down wherever you are and that is the greatest problem. It is not good to pay for a smart control unit if you can’t find the remote to control it or the guy who has it programmed into their iphone is not home. In that case you have to try to get a hold of them and ask them to adjust the temperature if you are not able to figure it out manually; Remote controls are a good convenience in this week’s society however only if they can be used when needed.
