Nice Weather Meant A Lot of Yard Work

I was used to cold and rainy weather, so when the forecast predicted clear skies and uneven temperatures above 80 degrees, I was blissful.

I was determined to get out of the apartment and get some labor done in the yard. There was a list that I added to whenever a project cooked into my head and it was getting quite long. The warm temperature and clear skies were begging me to get that list done. On the first nice day, I woke up early and began pulling all the weeds in the flower bed. All of the rain made the weeds grow a foot above the ground and they needed to be controlled. After the weeds were pulled, I moved to the backyard and began pulling the weeds around the A/C condenser unit. They had grown taller and thicker in that location as well, and I was distraught that they’d begin setbackly affecting the efficiency of the AC. Along with the weeds, I raked all of the leaves that had fallen around the A/C condenser unit. When I was finished, I could not guess how big the pile was! There were so numerous weeds, leaves, and debri surrounding the A/C condenser component and it was time to disaffix it all. If left untouched, it could cause complications with the way my A/C ran and create even bigger complications internally. I’m undoubtedly glad that the warmer weather came so that I could get all that yard labor done. Who knows what would have happened had I waited even longer?
