In my house we have the typical spring clean up.

After being in the house all winter long, it can seem to become a little dirty.

We go through the entire house and get rid of things. We also clean the entire house. We usually only thoroughly go through the house once per year. Our spring clean up always starts with the HVAC system. The air ducts sit all year long and the fan blades collect a lot of dust as well. Sometimes we try to clean as much as we can on our own. We do not want to pay the HVAC professional for things that we can control on our own. We make sure to clean around the ventilation systems that we have and the air vents. You can see a gray addition to the white air vents. You can clearly see that these become dirty. Once we have cleaned everything we can, we call our local HVAC company. We schedule an appointment to have the entire system tuned up. They also come over to clean the air ducts. This is something we struggle with on our own, so we make sure that a professional takes care of it for us. Cleaning the system at least once per year it the most important to our family. We love to have good air quality in our home to ensure that we breathe nothing but the best air. The best way to ensure everything is up to standards is to call our HVAC company when we are done.
