Yesterday was my birthday.

• My associate and I had a sizable gathering to celebrate as it was a big birthday.

Unfortunately, I had to do all of the cooking for it. I prefer to cook however it was my gathering. I thought I shouldn’t have too. Unfortunately, I am the only one in the family who can even cook well too. I believe it wasn’t bad after my associate and I fixed the small problem that my associate and I had. I had started to bake some desserts for the gathering. I was baking cookies and such. I went outside to set everything up and i had completely forgotten about all of the cookies! I ran back inside. The dwelling was filled with smoke and the stink of something burning. I opened the oven and smoke just blew right towards me. I grabbed the cookies out and they were ruined. I had tried so hard to make these cookies nice. This was right before most people was going to get here too. My associate and I tried as best as my associate and I could to get the stink out of the house. Unfortunately my associate and I do not even have a ventilation system for instances like this. My associate and I opened all of the windows and lit some candles. It took a long time to get the stink out. I guess after this incident, my associate and I will be investing in a ventilation system. These systems are meant for getting those bad stinks out of your home quick. My associate and I easily could have used one! Just when you do not guess you will need something, you genuinely end up needing it more than you would have ever thought.
