We have been receiving a lot of rain lately.

• It is good for the farmers but I feel like a lot of rain ruins the summer plans.

There are a lot of things I want to do but I cannot do them because it is raining. There are things that require you to go outdoors. The other annoying part about the rain is that it seems to be bringing a lot of humidity towards us as well. It makes my hair start to frizz up and I sweat a lot more than I normally would. It is crazy how much I get uncomfortable with humidity. It has also been seeping into our house lately though. I can feel it in the air. We have air conditioning but the air has seemed to felt so heavy as of lately. It feels kind of dense and uncomfortable. I even feel my skin get a little clammy. We called the local HVAC business that we go through to ask him what was going on. We weren’t sure of the air conditioning system was functioning properly. He told us that the problem is not with the air conditioner. We just have excess moisture getting into the house which is perfectly normal. The way to beat something like this is to get a dehumidifier. What this piece of equipment does is remove all of the excess moisture in the house that we have been feeling. We were interested in getting something like this if it would help the feel of our home. He installed the system for us. It was an easy process. He also told us how it worked and how often to get maintenance on it. He was super helpful and our excess moisture problem has been gone ever since.
