It was old and it was laboring hard. It would cost less to just replace the cooling system. We had to do that. We would wait until the Springtime, however my buddy and I still needed it now with the boiling weather. We still chose our central air. The central air moves cool air all around our home. It is self-explanatory and our apartment has an even temperature throughout. It has worked for us for several years. I know more years have gone by than I can remember. Over the years Heating as well as A/C component actually can start to wither down.
